Mediterranean, Small Children Safe
Inspiration + Goal
This yard was designed for a couple with small children, who were looking to take advantage of their small yard and create a modern place that they can use for work, entertainment, growing herbs and fruits, and enjoying a healthy oasis of peace. The most important part of the project was creating safe spaces for children to play.
The Outcome
The backyard is pretty small, but we were able to use some ideas to make the yard look bigger. A pergola offers space for both work and entertainment. The coffee table under the tree provides shade and a lawn for children. A dining table and barbecue on the patio allow eating outside.
